Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Olga was a barker. A neighbor kid was mad that he could not have a dog, so he Went around his neighbor hood letting all the dogs out. Olga ran away and was Spotted out on the express way near our house. Some people spotted her and And called her and put her in their car. They took her home to be friends with Their sheltie. A member of the local obedience club called us and told Dolly About her dog. She called these people and asked if we could come over to Their house. They were very nervous that we would take her back.We were Exceeding our dog limit. We gave Olga to them shot records. Etc. We Lost track of them as they were an air force family. She was the mother of our kennel, she had 2 litters. She was a sweet bitch. She was an escape artist and we nicknamed her "hodeni" , She would climb A 6 foot chain link fence faster than you could call her. Once free she would Run for blocks. We would look for her in a car as she could run about 60 miles Per hour. She would stop to meet another dog or a child. We would sneak up On her with a lead in hand.

. Sugar (basenji)

Browni was Truman's dog. He was solid brown except for a half of white color Collar. He was a good show wit a good figure. He took so many reserve places That we joking called him the champion of reserves. He was not a flashy dog and Judges did not place him first. We had fun with him in the show ring.

Buddi was placed in what we thought what was a good home, but ended up locked in his Crate. One day I saw a classified for a male basenji and knew it was Buddi.
